About
Fleet Evaluation Services (FES) was born out of a recognition of a need for affordable, comprehensive CMV management systems for operators who lack resources to staff in house. Ed Trombley, the owner of FES, built and operated a trucking company in the 90's, allowing him to recognize the lack of awareness some CMV operators have for cost containment and regulatory compliance when their core business lies outside of traditional trucking models. Over the years, Ed developed a reputation as someone who could quickly identify and develop strategies to deal with excess fleet costs, unidentified risk exposure, and insurance procurement challenges due to derogatory safety compliance data. It was then that he began to take on clients on both a contract basis and on an "on staff" basis for larger projects requiring more constant attention. With over 30 years of experience, FES takes a uniquely curated approach to all of it's clients' specific needs, ensuring that the value provided far outweighs the cost of services.
